Come on into the Tail on Friday the 31st of October and spend some Halloween with us. Heather, Katie and I will be dressed to the nines and Matt Borracho and Owen Straw will be rocking the turntables all night long. Drink specials will abound as will bunnies.

You can take your pick 100% beef hot dogs from Hemplers in Bellingham or a tasty veggie option. There is also a ton of toppings for you to choose from - wasabi mayo, daikon radish sprouts, sweet hot mango mustard, seaweed, kewpie brand mayo, bonita flakes and much much more. Tracey has been slaving away making sides too - get some chili on your hot dog or get a side of macaroni salad or baked beans. Weiner-licious.

Wooohoo! We finally got brunch ready to go. We had a tasting this week and everything that Tracey and Marta made was delicious, so come by and check it out. 10 am - 2 pm Saturdays and Sundays.

Thursday Night - The Cops play DJ

That’s right: we are happy to have Ballard’s well-loved band, the Cops, DJing tonight from 9 pm-ish till we all fall down. Looks like Mr. Scott Kannberg (a.k.a. Spiral Stairs, Pavement’s former guitarist) will also be hopping on the decks for a spin, so it’s gonna be a great night. What’s more, it’s also the opening reception for “You Say Good-Bye, I Say Hello”, our new art show featuring music photography (Sleater-Kinney, Mudhoney and more) by local shutter queens Jenny Jimenez, Sarah Joann Murphy and Laura Musselman. It’s hard to miss Tigertail’s bright orange sign on this quasi commercial stretch of 65th. The cartoonish tiger whose tail dangles above the bar’s front door could be the grandson of that roaring Frosted Flake freak, Tony.
